It’s “Currently” A New Year!

Happy New Year! I haven’t done a Farley’s Currently in a while….don’t know why….they’re so much fun!

Most of these are self explanatory, but I’ll share on my Christmas memory. So my parents can have all their children (grandchildren, really) together at the same time, my brother and our families spend Christmas or Thanksgiving with them and then the opposite holiday with our in laws. This year we spent Thanksgiving with my family, but asked the hubby if we could have Christmas at our house. He agreed and it was AMAZING! Plus, that way my parents didn’t have to spend Christmas with other people…. 🙂

Well, again everyone…Happy New Year!

  1. I feel behind on things for work too…I haven’t even thought about it. I am thinking of waiting until Sunday…I love silence at times too. My two year old is always on the go and when I get just 5 min. to sit and do nothing is fabulous! Happy New Year!

  2. Do you have the rest of the week off or do you go back tomorrow? What a great idea to alternate your Christmas and Thanksgiving. When I was younger, we always did Boxing Day with my mom’s side and Christmas day with my dad’s side… but then again, our family lives relatively close by.

    • We go back on Monday, but I’m going in tomorrow to work a little….well, a lot! Ha! My parents live 45 minutes away and my in laws live 30 minutes away, but we’ve been doing a destination vacation with my parents for the past 9 years. For the grand kids and all (according to them)….:-)

  3. Sounds like you have had a wonderful break-what a fun way to spend Christmas. I always travel to my parents house or to the in-laws house for Christmas…makes it fun, but not always relaxing!
